Winter Beckons

An awkward silence
Hangs delicately
Our eyes avoiding
Contact.

Each now just
An object.
Long gone are the
Amorous stares
Once a staple
Of our lives.

Intimacy replaced
By hesitancy
As minds
Race and search
To overcome
This rigid boundary,
To find
The freedom
That once defined us.

My feelings torn
Asunder
Should I open the window
Scream “I Love You”
To the world,
Show I am alive
Yet heartbroken
That we have
Drifted
Slowly
Away from us.

Vibrations
Once strong
And vivid
Now play
A dull beat
Prolonged agony
As our shared lives
Remain
Defined by
Covenants
Circles
Fantasies
Yet even entwined
We are not
Together.

Sometimes I escape
Wipe away the devastation
Conjure a familiar landscape
Our parallel existence
Where we roam
Free
Together
Hand in hand
Together
Smiling
Together.

Our inner desires
Fashioned
By endless days
And nights
There is no time
There is only
Us.

Bodies dance
With heated passions
Come together
Without boundaries
Or fear.
Our singular movements
Satisfy
Each ones needs and wants.

Erotic poses
Struck
As fingers gently play
And tongues explore.
Erogenous zones
Scream their demands
Our most intimate sensations
Revealed.

Arched backs
Muted cries
Smell you
Taste me
Bodies writhe
As warm
Sweat
Trickles
Between us.

Passionate
Souls
Dance sweetly together
Desires exchanged
Sharing this power
We own
Together
Forever.

Each of us
Fascinated and
Addicted
To watch the other
Scream towards
Ecstasy
Oh how we each crave
That moment of release.

Your garish
Paroxysm
On display
An exquisite performance
For my inner voyeur
Who lurks
Always so needy
Yet always satiated by you
Your irreverent giggle
Reveals
An image that I
Burn into my
Soul.

Snap.
Remnants of memories
Suddenly fracture
Crushing
My spirit
As the blackness
Returns
To complete its
Evil task.
